Week ending 11th July 2025
Hello Year Three,
We have been so busy this week as we complete various projects and work. I hope you enjoyed the monsters that were created so that the children could experience pneumatics first hand. They really loved this project. Next week they will evaluate their outcomes and explain some of the challenges they faced.
We finished reading 'The Thames and the Tide Club.' They enjoyed this story. There are others in the series if you are interested. They created their own advertisement for an underwater holiday and wrote a fantasy story. All they need to do now is a book review.
We explored pollination and fertilisation in our science lesson and the children drew some excellent diagrams to demonstrate these processes.
We completed our final maths block which was statistics.
Today we looked at the rise and fall of Anne Boleyn. They have loved this history topic!
Next week we will continue to finish various projects. The children will also be writing a poem and completing the end of year maths and English assessments.
The children have all worked exceptionally hard this year and are pleased with the progress they have made.
A couple of photos of this amazing class of children, who I will miss very much!
