The pool remains a firm
favourite for Year 3, with our trip to the Furzfield Centre for an extra
swimming lesson serving as a real highlight this term. Spanish Day was also a
massive hit; the playground was a sea of football kits, with Barcelona and Real
Madrid proving to be the top choices! Beyond the kits, the children enjoyed a
deep dive into Spanish geography, locating La Liga stadiums on the map. To top
it all off, the flamenco dancing workshop was truly fantastic, bringing the
school to life with traditional music and classic dance steps.
If possible, please can your child bring in a plant pot for
our science topic, a large yogurt pot would be perfect.
Looking ahead, Year 3 is gearing up for our 6 times tables
test next Friday. We’d love your support with a little extra multiplication
practice at home this week! To keep things exciting, we’ve launched a massive
TT Rockstars Battle against Year 4. Year 3 is competing as one big team, and
our mission is simple: out-score Year 4 by getting as many multiplication facts
right as possible. Let’s show them what we’ve got!
