Hello all!
I hope you all had a great half term! I cannot believe we only have 6 more weeks of Year 3 - where has the time gone?!
Next Thursday the children will be making their pneumatic moving monsters for their final D&T piece. The children have a few items they made need to bring in which I popped onto a post-it note for them. I have lots of resources here such as paper, card, tubing and syringes. If you have any issues resourcing these object please do let me know.
Home Learning Project
Computing - Create something to show the class. This can be anything we have covered this year. You could make a stock motion movie using iMotion, code an animation or game on scratch, write a programme for a Micro:bit using makecode.org, or create a database.
Next Week
Maths - Telling the time and calculating durations of time.
English - We will start our adventure story topic.
Science - To group rocks based on their characteristics.
D&T - To make a pneumatic toy.
Geography - To identify the human and physical features in the local area.
Spanish - To learn food nouns from the Hungry Caterpillar story.
PSHE - How babies grow. We will understand that in animals and humans lots of changes happen between birth and growing up, and that usually it is the female who has the baby. The children will express how they feel when I see babies or baby animals.
