Hello all! 

I look forward to seeing you all at parents' consultations next week. If you haven't booked in with me yet, please do this as soon as possible. 

Next Friday the Year 6 children will be running their annual Apprentice event. This means that the children of Year 6 have made products to sell to the children. All the money they raise will be going to a charity of their choice. If you would like your child to be able to buy some of the Year 6's products please send your child in with cash on Friday. 

Home Learning Project (Due Monday 15th July)

Computing - Create something to show the class. This can be anything we have covered this year. You could make a stock motion movie using iMotion, code an animation or game on scratch, write a programme for a Micro:bit using makecode.org, or create a database. 

Next Week 

Maths - We will be exploring angles and different types of lines. 

English - We will start out topic 'Adventure Stories'.  

Science - To group rocks based on their characteristics. 

Geography - To identify the human and physical features in the local area.

PSHE - understand that boys’ and girls’ bodies need to change so that when they grow up their bodies can make babies; identify how boys’ and girls’ bodies change on the outside during this growing up process; recognise how I feel about these changes happening to me and know how to cope with those feelings.

Computing- Using scratch to change sprite sizes and creating and programming mazes.
