 Hello all! 

The children have had a great week and it was lovely to see you all too. Next week we have our trip to Celtic Harmony on Thursday 4th July. Please ensure the children have appropriate footwear for walking and please could you pack your child a packed lunch and a water bottle. Please be mindful of the weather and prepare accordingly. 

Next Wednesday will be our last swimming session. 

Home Learning Project (Due Monday 15th July)

Computing - Create something to show the class. This can be anything we have covered this year. You could make a stock motion movie using iMotion, code an animation or game on scratch, write a programme for a Micro:bit using makecode.org, or create a database. 

Next Week 

Maths - We will be exploring 2D and 3D shapes. 

English - We will continue exploring The Journey by Aaron Becker.  

Science - To be able to plan, carry out and evaluate experiments to compare rocks. 

Geography - To identify the human and physical features in the local area.

PSHE - identify how boys’ and girls’ bodies change on the inside during the growing up process and why these changes are necessary so that their bodies can make babies when they grow up.

Computing- This lesson will introduce extension blocks in Scratch using the Pen extension. We will use the pen down block to draw lines, building on the movement they created for their sprite in Lesson 2.
