I hope you all had a wonderful half term.

Teams

This week in class I have taught the class how to use Microsoft Teams - this is an online learning platform. The children have been given their own emails and passwords to log onto Teams. We will be using this platform should we need to work from home as per the guidance given by the DfE. 

You should have been sent a step-by-step guide how on how to use Microsoft Teams and we will be producing a video showing you exactly how to navigate the program which will be on our blog.

EXTREME READING!

Take a photo of your child reading in an extreme (or at least VERY unusual) place. If you could bring these in on the first week back, I can create a display of these. If you cannot print the picture feel free to email this to me.

TIES, TOP BUTTONS AND LACES!

Please teach the children how to tie their laces and ties and to do up their top button on their own.

Next week 

Maths - In maths we will be looking at units of measurements and reading scales. 

English - In English we will be reciting and writing our own limericks. 

Science - We will be starting our forces topic and looking at what a force is and what motion is.

RE -  We will be learning about the 5 pillars of Islam. 

ICT- Microsoft Teams.

Spanish - Learning the numbers to 20.

History - We will be looking at life in the Mesolithic period. 

Art - Stone age art.
