Hello all!
This week has flown by! We have had an exciting week full of learning and this Thursday we were lucky enough to have a talk from people working in the field of STEM. Specifically we looked at STEM jobs working with plants. We spoke to a herbologist, a landscape architect and a researcher at Kew Gardens who is extracting DNA from plants and flowers. There was some excellent discussion that followed this. All children in KS2 took part and really enjoyed the discussion. Next week I have organised for the children to have a talk from people who have STEM jobs in design.
Name Your Uniform
There has been a lot of lost property in Year 3 this half term. Please remember to clearly label all items so if these items are misplaced, they can be quickly returned.
Throughout the year the children, in their friendship groups, will share some of their learning. I have attached a link to show which dates the children will be sharing. Parents/guardians are welcome to come and watch this assembly to celebrate the children's learning.

History – Prehistoric Britain
This half termly project is Prehistoric Britain.
I would like you to create something that shows your learning around this topic. Please feel free to be as imaginative as you would like! You could focus on subjects such as the stone age (Paleolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic age), the metal ages (Bronze and Iron), the Celts, life in Britain, food, houses, Stonehenge, etc.
