Week ending 23rd May 2025

Hello Everyone,

What a fabulous way to end this half-term! The children enjoyed taking part in this year's mini-marathon at Oakmere School. See the photos below.

We have had a busy week completing lots of projects before the holiday.

The children wrote a report on tea, a book review on 'Cloud Tea Monkeys' and have completed several comprehension tasks. 

For maths we have finished the fractions block and will be moving on to money after the holiday.

We have competed our geography topic on settlements and will begin a history project after the holiday.

For science we will be continuing to explore the functions of plants and flowers. 

Our Spanish lessons will be mainly revision and practising speaking in Spanish.

Our PHSE lessons will be 'Changing Me,' and I will send more information out about this nearer the time. 

We will be exploring the work of Van Gogh and the children will be painting.

We do have a design and technology project to carry out, involving levers and I will be sending further information about this after the break.

I wish you all a happy holiday and will leave you with a photo of some of the children dancing to 'The Sugar Plum Fairy!'
