Week ending 13th June 2025
Hi All,
The children have had great fun this week as they have begun preparing for their Van Gogh paintings! They have been trying out their swirls and mixing colours! Next week they will complete the final painting.
We have been learning about 'time' in our maths lessons. They learned the Roman Numerals and how to tell the time to one minute.
We are beginning to sense a mystery in our class reader 'The Thames and the Tide Club.' The children have carried out a lot of writing this week, writing a diary entry, descriptive phrases and using adverbials.
The children discovered more about Henry 8th this week and focussed on his personality and looks.
In our PHSE lesson we explored the needs of a baby and how a baby grows in a woman's uterus.
We played times table bingo today and although repetitive it is a good way for the children to learn their tables.
