Happy Friday!
Only one more week to go! I cannot believe we have almost
finished our first half term - how fast the time has flown by.
I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday and Thursday – if
for whatever reason you are unable to make your appointment please call or
email ahead and we will arrange another appointment.
This week:
As a whole school we have been celebrating differences.
Little Heath have aimed to raise the awareness, tolerance and acceptance of the
many differences that exist between people in different ways. I have been so
impressed with the levels of acceptance and maturity the children have
demonstrated, you should be incredibly proud that you have raised such
accepting children. Year 3 really are an asset to the school and wider society.
English – We have now finished our instruction writing
module. I’m sure most of you have had a chance to look at the wonderful cocktails
we have made in Year 3. We then wrote instructions to James Bond with our
instruction to help him throw his super-secret spy cocktail party.
Maths – we have been comparing, ordering and understanding
place value of 2- and 3-digit numbers; subtracting from 2-digit numbers.

Maths - Subtracting from 2-digit numbers; using prediction
to estimate calculations; end of term maths assessments.
