Hello all!

We have had a great week in year 3 this week, I hope the children have been sharing their learning with you.

Missing jumpers – all around the school we are finding many missing jumpers and cardigans, please can we ensure we clearly name all clothing so we can return items to their owners. 

Smile! Next Friday the children will have their individual photos.

Book Fayre

Book Fayre will start next week after school on Thursday and will run until the following Tuesday.

PE timetable

Monday PM (30 minutes - trainers only)

Thursday AM (1 hour - full kit)

Friday PM (1 hour - full kit) [Football. Separate kit to the previous day. This will get muddy – please send the children in warmer kits as the weather worsens].

Next week

Maths – Pupils will be encouraged to consider the order and estimation of numbers, including their magnitude relative to other numbers. They will also plot and identify numbers on an empty number line in a variety of number ranges.

English – We will be starting our new unit of writing and performing a play.

Science – In science this week we will be looking at the human skeleton leading on from last week’s lesson where we were identifying different types of skeletons.

RE – Next week we will be learning about Islamic festivals.

ICT – Next week we will be learning about staying safe online.

Geography - To find out about some of the key geographical features of each continent.

D&T – Joining fabrics together by sewing.

Art- Stone Age art with Stormont.
