 Hola! 

The children all looked very smart today for their photos. We had a great day today celebrating Spanish day. I'm sure the children will tell you all about the different activities we did today. 

Last week I sent the children home with their TTRS and Numbots log in (the same login for both), do let me know if you have any issues logging on. 

On Friday 22 October 2021 we will be having a Spooky Costume Day to raise funds. Children can wear any spooky costume of their choice. Please bring in £2 and give to the class teacher or pay via Gateway to take part.

I have sent home a maths sheet for the children to be able to complete for placing numbers on a number line. This is not compulsory but will help the children in their learning. If you do complete this - please return it. 

 

Sharing Assembly 

Throughout the year the children, in their friendship groups, will share some of their learning. I have attached a link to show which dates the children will be sharing. Parents/guardians are welcome to come and watch this assembly to celebrate the children's learning.

Home Learning Project – Due Thursday 21st October

Geography – Countries of the World

This half termly project is Countries of the World.

I would like you to create something that displays your learning around this topic.

Please feel free to be as imaginative as you would like! You could focus on subjects such as continents, countries, capital cities etc. You could explore food, culture, art, songs, sports, inventions, landmarks, wonders of the world etc.

Please do not feel this has to be a writing task.

Next week 

Maths -  We will compare and order numbers up to 1000 and then move onto round numbers. If you could do some pre-learning, this would be helpful. 

English - We are writing our diary entry for the bear and the piano. We will then move onto our fables topic. 

Science - We will identifying and classifying types of skeletons. 

Geography - We will  find out about some of the key geographical features of each continent.

ICT - We will look at what a search engine is and its purpose. 

RE - An introduction to Christianity.

Spanish - Greetings.
