Hello all! 

I really don't know where the time has gone. We are at the end of our first summer half term. We only have one more half term left until the children will be Year 4. The children have worked very hard this half term and I hope this continues. 

PE for Next week will be on Tuesday and swimming on Wednesday. This is only for one week. Thank you. 

Horse Riding

Please can you fill out BOTH forms for horse riding. We have been informed that if both forms aren't filled out then the children will not be able to ride. The insurance waiver form goes straight to the centre, we cannot track who has filled this out . To ensure a pleasant trip please ensure both forms are filled out. 

Swimming

The children have their swimming lessons each Wednesday. Please send your child in with either a swimming costume or shorts – no bikinis, please.  (If the children come in wearing their swimming things under their uniform, please pack spare underwear for when they get changed after their swimming lesson).

PE Timetable 

Please provide children with a PE kit on Thursday. This is no longer a football session. 

Monday (30 mins) 1:15pm

Wednesday (swimming) 11am-12pm

Thursday (summer sports) - 2:15pm-3:15pm 

Next week 

Maths - We will be solving division word problems.

English - We will be writing to persuade. 

Science - We are starting our new topic of rocks and soils. 

Geography - We will be completing field work in out local area. 

PSHE - We will explore how babies grow. (To understand that in animals and humans lots of changes happen between birth and growing up, and that usually it is the female who has the baby).
