Happy Easter from Year 3!

What a spectacular way to end the spring term. The classroom has been buzzing with excitement as the children took to the stage for our rehearsals and performances of Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies. They did an incredible job—it was the perfect high-energy balance to the focused work they put into their Maths and English assessments earlier in the week.

Maths & Science Highlights

In Maths, we’ve stayed sharp with our 3 and 4 times tables, while also "weighing up" new challenges in our work on mass, capacity, and volume.

Our Science lessons took us back millions of years as we explored the world of fossils. We’ve been learning how they are formed and where they can be found. If you’re looking for a fun holiday activity, why not Google Mary Anning? She was a trailblazing palaeontologist, and the children would love to discover more about her famous finds.

Looking Ahead: Summer Term Swimming
