Hello all!
Happy Friday! A very short week
to get us back into the swing of things, the children have come back this week with
a great attitude.
Our class assembly is on Friday
25th January. The children have been given what they are saying and
should familiarise themselves with their lines. If there are any problems, do
not hesitate to let me know.
The children have been offered
the opportunity to enter a poetry competition. I have sent the children home
with the entry form. The theme is open, so let pupils decide what they’d like
to write about. In Poetry Wonderland anything is possible, where will your children’s
imaginations take them...? Here is a youtube video for you/your child to watch
to explain more about the task.

I would like the entry forms back
by Friday February 1st so that I can send them all off. The children
have a chance to have their poem published in a book and to win prizes. Good
luck and I cannot wait to see where their imagination takes them.
Next Week
Swimming. The children will be
swimming on Wednesday. If your child wants to wear googles please ensure they
bring in a note of consent from you. Please also ensure all swimwear is
suitable and there are no two-piece swimsuits. If there are any questions, do
not hesitate to email me.
