25/01/19 (Updated)

Hello all!

Wow – what a performance. I’m confident we will be winning Oscars and Golden Globes for that assembly. The children were brilliant and it was a great demonstration of their learning. I was extremely proud of them and I’m sure you all were too.

Reminder: The children have been offered the opportunity to enter a poetry competition. I have sent  the entry form home. The theme is open, so let the children decide what they’d like to write about. In Poetry Wonderland anything is possible, where will your children’s imaginations take them...? Here is a youtube video for you/your child to watch to explain more about the task.

I would like the entry forms back by Friday February 1st so that I can send them all off. The children have a chance to have their poem published in a book and to win prizes. Good luck and I cannot wait to see where their imagination takes them.

Polite Notice
If, for whatever reason, you are unable to pick your child up after school and another adult is picking them up please could you inform myself (via note or email) or the school office. We are unable to let children go with other adults unless we have been informed by you, the parent/guardian.

Please ensure you are using the Y3 blog to its full potential. If you browse the pages there are many educational games on here that the children may access. You can also find recommended reading lists, sharing assembly information and the statutory word list for Year 3/4.
