Hello all!
How is it October already?! The children have had a great week and they thoroughly enjoyed their drama workshop on Tuesday.
I look forward to seeing some of you for the Harvest Coffee Morning. Year 3's slot is 11:00am -11:30.
Parents' consultations
Please book your timeslot via the Parents Evening website. I am free to meet with you all on Monday 21st October (08:40-09:00) and on Thursday 24th October (16:00 - 19:30). If you cannot meet me during these times, please email me directly so we can arrange another time.
I have sent home a Poetry Monsters task from Young Writers. I know the children do like to take part in this and have the chance to be published in a book. I will be collecting these in on Thursday October 24th. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCAPScHF7uI

Next Week
Maths - We will be working on mental strategies for solving addition. We will start by adding 3-digit numbers to ones, tens and hundreds.
English - We will start our instruction writing topic.
Science - Organs and their uses.
RE - Place of worship (Islam).
Geography - To be able to use a variety of sources to identify human and physical features in a particular country.
ICT - To search for something online.
D&T - Creating a designed product. (Sewing their pencil cases).
Art - The children will be continuing their art with Stormont.
