Hello everyone!
From writing scripts to cave paintings it has been another fantastic week in Year 3!
It was lovely to speak to you all today.
Homework
Please ensure with your child you are - reading daily (10 minutes), going on mathletics/mathseeds (3 x 20 minutes a week) and practising spellings.
PE timetable
Monday (30 minutes - trainers only)
Wednesday (1 hour - full kit)
Thursday (1 hour - full kit)
On Wednesdays the children will be playing football on last lesson. This means that the children should have 2 pairs of shoes – one pair to walk through the school and the other pair to play football in. The children are also encouraged to wear warm clothes (no scarf) as Mr Mills will take them out in all weathers. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

Next Week
Maths – We will be continuing our place value topic and will be ordering numbers and will also be rounding numbers.
English – We will be continuing our recount topic. At the end of this topic the children will be writing a newspaper article.
Science – Next week we will be looking muscles and how they help us move.
Geography and ICT– The children will pick a country in groups and research human and physical features of their chosen country.
Art- We will be continuing our Stone Age by cave painting next week.
RE- We will be looking at the Islamic place of worship.
Spanish – Asking and responding to ‘what is your name?’.
