Happy Friday! 

 

What a wonderful week we've had. An outstanding assembly today showing all of the children's learning and their hard work - they were amazing. Thank you all for attending and for all of your positive feedback.

 

As Mrs Custis said in assembly it was a 'show business' week this week as half of our class were performing at the 02 arena for Young Voices. Well done all! Mrs Custis noted how well behaved Year 3 were on this trip - well done. 

 

 

Home learning project - Volcano Fact file or Presentation - Due 16th February 2023 

Pick a volcano (Mount Vesuvius, Mt Etna, Mount Fuji, Cotopaxi, Mount St Helens or Krakatau) to write a fact file about or create a PowerPoint presentation. I do have some sheets in class that can help with this so if you need any help, do feel free to ask. 

 

Next Week 

Maths - Solving word problems. 

 

English - A continuation of Dick King Smith's, The Finger Eater. 

 

Science - Conducting a fair test (magnet strength).

 

ICT - Completing a simple search. 

 

Geography - To explore what happens when a volcano erupts.
