Hello all!
Happy Friday! We have had a great week - we are back into the swing of things. I have to say, the children have come back this week with a great attitude. It really has been lovely to be back.
Our class assembly is on Friday 20th January (next Friday). The children have been given what they are saying and should familiarise themselves with their lines. If there are any problems, do not hesitate to let me know.
We are learning column addition and subtraction in maths currently. If you could support the children at home with this topic that would really help with their progress.
Next Week
Maths - Column subtraction with exchanging.
English - We will start out traditional tales topic.
Science - Magnets - attract and repel
ICT - Performing simple searches on the internet.
Geography - Introduction to volcanoes. We will be watching some clips of volcanoes to research.
Art - Stone Age carving.
