 What a Fantastic End to the Term!

We can’t believe we’ve reached the end of term already! It has been such a wonderful time in Year 3, and we are so proud of how much everyone has achieved. In English, we have been exploring The First Drawing, which really helped us imagine what it might have been like to create the very first pieces of art.

This afternoon, we had an amazing time making our own cave drawings! We turned our classroom desks into caves, crawled underneath, and used the “cave walls” to create our artwork. To make it even more realistic, we listened to sounds of animals that people long ago might have heard outside their caves.

We also put the finishing touches on our Stephen Wiltshire-inspired art, which is now proudly displayed outside our classroom for everyone to see. What a creative and inspiring way to end the term!
