Hello Year Three,
We have had a productive week! The children loved the English
lesson yesterday, as they were asked to create a ‘freeze frame.’ The story we
are reading has a moment where everyone in the cave encounters an imaginary
mammoth and they are terrified. Here are some photos from the fantastic frames.

Maths
Next week we will complete our work on place value. The
children will be carrying out a variety of games to learn their times tables,
but they do still need to practise at home.
Science
The children will be learning about vertebrates and
invertebrates.
Geography
We will continue with our project on volcanoes as we discover
the many different types.
Spanish
As we build on our Spanish vocabulary the children will learn
ways to say goodbye and will be having conversations with each other.
RE
Next week we will be exploring the different symbols
associated to Christianity.
ART
To follow on from this week’s still life drawing we will be
working on shading.
