Hello all!

Lights, camera, action! The children of Year 3 have been working really hard to produce a wonderful full-length musical for you all. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

Letters have gone out about and tickets. If you did not receive this, please let the office know and they will be more than happy to help you.

The production will be on Wednesday (am) 3rd April and Thursday (pm) 4th April. We do expect all children to be in attendance to both performances. Thank you.

Below is listed the learning for next week – some of it is the same as last week because the children have missed some lessons for rehearsals – not to worry, the lessons will just be carried over to the following week.

Next Week:

Monday morning 0900 there is a sharing assembly. If your child is taking part in sharing assembly they would've been given a letter to confirm this. There is a tab on this blog with the dates of your child's sharing assembly.

This KS2 production – We will be performing the play to the school on Monday morning (after sharing assembly) and on Wednesday afternoon.

Maths – We will be looking at ordering and comparing fractions.

English – We will be continuing our topic of explanation texts.

Science -  Investigate the way in which water is transported within plants.

History – Next week in history we will be finding out what Roman life was like in Britain.

D&T – Making biscuits. The children have listed their desired ingredients and I have sent home a list. Please do not go out of your way to buy lots as some of the children, I believe, have added too much to their biscuit. If there are any issues - please email me. (I will be providing icing and the biscuit recipe)

NOTE: I would like you remind you all I cannot let your child go with another parent unless you have confirmed it with me previously. Recently I have had to hold children back and wait for confirmation - this can be very distressing for your child. Please contact me via email or ring and inform the school office.

I hope you all have a great weekend.

All the best,

Miss Davis
